Scented with: Lemon Zest, Victorian Rose
This is a different recipe from my usual ones. I felt compelled by the beautiful, very white sheep tallow I got recently to make a very white soap (without the addition of any micas or other colours). I did some research on the net and found some interesting historical soaps: "The White Windsor" soap as well as the "Titanic" soap and incorporated some aspects of those into my new recipe.
The White Windsor soap was originally made with 70% tallow and the Titanic soap had the lovely sounding fragrance mix of Rose and Lemon as well as the addition of shea butter for a bit of luxury.
To accentuate the luxury aspect I painted the details with gold mica, but be aware that this will vanish, when you start using it and leaves you with a luxurious white soap with a wonderful scent.
The prices for the soaps from this batch vary, as they all have different weights.
Soap Ingredients:
Saponified oils: (Tallow, Coconut, Shea Butter, Castor). Water, Glycerine*), Fragrance oil, citric acid, sugar
*) Please note that I don't put any extra glycerine into the soap - this is just the glycerine that is created naturally during the soap making process.
According to NZ labelling rules the final ingredients of a product have to be listed.
