Description

Vegan soaps made with Marlborough Sea Salt and colloidial oatmeal.

Scented with: High Tide

A bit of info about this soap: It's made from coconut and castor oil with a 25% superfat and contains 50% Marlborough Sea Salt.

Skin Revitalization: The sea salt crystals in the soap provide gentle skin revitalization by helping to remove dead skin cells and leaving your skin feeling smoother.

Skin Hydration: Despite the skin revitalization effect, the coconut oil's 25% superfat ensures that the soap also helps maintain your skin's natural hydration.

Usage Tips:
Gentle Use: As this soap contains sea salt, it's recommended for occasional or targeted use rather than daily use, especially if you have sensitive or delicate skin.
Skin Sensation: When using the soap, you may feel a gentle abrasive sensation due to the salt crystals. Adjust the pressure and frequency of use according to your skin's sensitivity.
Storage: To extend the life of your soap, keep it in a dry, well-draining soap dish when not in use. It might weep in a high humidity environment, which is completely normal (the salt attracts humidity).

Additional Information:
Natural Preservative: The salt in the soap acts as a natural preservative, helping to inhibit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms.
Soapmaking Process: High salt content can accelerate the soapmaking process, so this soap is prepared quickly during production.
Variations: The skin revitalization effect may vary depending on the size and type of sea salt crystals used in the recipe.
Customer Safety: Always discontinue use if you experience any skin irritation or discomfort while using the soap.
We hope you enjoy the unique benefits of our Coconut Oil and Sea Salt Soap.

Description of Fragrances from the sellers webpages (Pure Nature):

Immerse yourself in the aromas of waves crashing onto the shore with storm clouds gathering on the horizon. High Tide evokes the churn of the sea, bringing the water, salt, and sand together into a clean and ozonic scent. Top notes of lemon, orange, and fresh ozone give way to a heart of briny sea salt and a hint of jasmine. Powder and light musk balance the woody violet and cedar in the base.
This fragrance oil is infused with cedarwood, elemi and orange essential oils.

Properties of oils / materials used:

Coconut Creates a bubbly and effective cleansing lather. Adds firmness to soap bars for durability. Contains natural antioxidants to provide some skin protection.
Citric acid in your soap serves a dual purpose. It helps your soap perform well in hard water by preventing mineral build up, ensuring a rich lather. Additionally, it acts as a natural preservative, extending the soap's shelf life for a longer-lasting product you'll enjoy.
Colloidal Oatmeal Known for its finely ground and soothing texture, creating a gentle and comforting feel in soap. Offers natural cleansing properties, promoting smoother and revitalized skin. May help provide relief from dryness and irritation, making it suitable for sensitive or dry skin types.
Micas are natural mineral-based pigments that are used to add colour and shimmer to soap. They come in various shades and are often used to create visually appealing and decorative patterns in soap bars. Micas are safe for use in cosmetics and soap because they do not contain synthetic dyes or harmful chemicals, making them a popular choice for adding vibrant and eye-catching.
Fragrance Oils The fragrances we use come from reputable sources and are phthalate-free. (Phthalates are synthetic chemicals sometimes used in fragrances, and they have been linked to potential health concerns such as allergies, skin irritation, and even disruptions to hormonal balance.)
